Party In The Paddock 2016 Line Up Announced

Tasmania’s all-ages camping festival Party In The Paddock has unveiled its impressively eclectic 2016 lineup, packing the likes of Aussie rockers Violent Soho, Spiderbait and The Preatures, along with rising stars such as Tkay Maidza and producer Roland Tings.

Other acts on this year’s lineup include alt-rock outfit British India, electronic duo Vallis Alps, Adelaide rock dog legends Bad//Dreems, guitar master Harts and Perth band Tired Lion. Catch the festival’s full first lineup announcement, below.

Party In The Paddock began as a 1000-person festival in 2013, and last year saw 5500 punters soak up tunes from the likes of The Beautiful Girls, Allday, Jinja Safari, Dune Rats and The Smith Street Band.

This year, Party In The Paddock will once again take place on private farmland within Tasmania’s north-east, and will run from the 19th to 20th February.

The event is also partnering with beyondblue and other local mental health awareness groups again this year, to help spread awareness and to help combat the effects of depression, anxiety and substance abuse in the wider community.
