The Hard Aches Announce Australian Headline Tour

After a brief but refreshing few months away from their tools, The Hard Aches are itching to play again, and come October will be hitting venues around the country alongside Brisbane sweethearts Bugs, and Melbourne’s ferocious Face Face.

The upcoming tour sees a focus on playing all-ages shows, as drummer Alex Upton explains, “All ages shows and venues were really important to me and Ben in our formative years - that’s where we met actually. We wanted everyone to have the same opportunities we were lucky enough to have, during a time when we were learning to love live music.”

The tour comes hot off the release of the The Hard Aches’ second album, Mess. The band teamed up with Melbourne producer Sam Johnson at this studio Holes & Corners, and after 3 long weeks and many late nights crafted 12 of their strongest tracks to date. Ben David talks about the album, “Our album Mess is a collection of songs inspired by the people around us and the experiences we've all shared together or apart. Written with a focus on mental health in a hopeful and positive light. This album is sonically (and creatively) the best representation of us as a band, the album we’ve been working towards creating through years of touring and making music.”

You can catch The Hard Aches on tour with Bugs and Face Face this August, October and November!
